The Capital Campaign

1,000 HOURS — Every Hour Matters.

1,000 hours is the amount of time our students spend in our classrooms every school year. At MCS, we are committed to making each student’s 1,000 hours count for eternity.

In every classroom, in every chapel service, in every conversation or experience, we are intentional about training students to be confident of the truth, convicted to lead, and committed to Christ.

“Mansfield Christian gave me new, long-lasting friendships. I have attended MCS since the third grade and I would not change anything. I have been learning about Jesus everyday, not only in Bible class but in all classes. It was a great experience and I'm thankful for everything MCS has taught me.” -MCS Junior

Investing in Tomorrow:

$30 Million in 3 Phases to Create Space for Growth and Opportunity

Phase 1: Laying the Foundation

Our vision for the new high school has been designed with our children and grandchildren in mind. The new academic building will allow us to significantly improve the high school experience as we add 16 state of the art classrooms, featuring modern learning spaces and innovative technology in each room, along with unique designs for programs such as the Career Academy and Media Production. Rooms for intervention services, study rooms, counseling offices, and admissions are included, along with a new cafeteria exclusively for grades 9-12.

Phase 2: Expanding Programs & Spaces

Quality space for the fine arts department is long overdue and we are so excited to build new rooms for the band, choir, art and theatre courses, alongside a new 1,000 seat auditorium. This multi-use auditorium space will not only provide a more worshipful space for weekly chapels, but also allow us to seat all of our families together and welcome the community to programs such as music concerts, school plays, commencement, orientation, and special programs with community-wide interest.

Phase 3: Completing the Vision

If you have attended a junior sporting event in the current junior high gym in the last 10 years, you know full well that we have outgrown that gym for middle school students. We have designed a new high school gym with expanded seating, larger locker rooms, and a new state of the art weight room and training facility for our student athletes. The new HS gym will allow us to move our middle school sports programs into the current secondary gym, and use the elementary gym for grade school gym classes, indoor recess, and intramural sports.

What will happen to our existing building?

We have a new vision for the existing building that will expand the elementary program, improve our day care, and introduce a new middle school to the MCS experience.

The Capital Campaign will help us achieve these goals:

  • Increase space for each grade level
  • Lower the student-teacher ratios
  • Add intervention spaces for both learning needs and enrichment services

Our new middle school facility will live in the existing building and will meet the unique educational needs of children at this age.
All K-8 students will benefit from:

  • newly renovated science labs
  • a dedicated art room
  • an inspirational STEM space
  • a fully-functional gymnasium
  • a new middle school cafeteria

That also means no more K-8 classes in modular units!

What Parents are Saying about MCS

“It is a tremendous blessing as a parent to know your children's teachers care not only about their academic and personal growth, but also their spiritual growth.”
“We couldn't be more thankful to be able to send our children to MCS. It was affordable for us by using various scholarships and grants. MCS walked us through the process and helped us set everything up.”
“MCS is always getting better and constantly looking for ways to improve while keeping its core foundation in place- the solid rock of Jesus.”

At Mansfield Christian School, we are determined to make every hour matter, train every student, and teach every truth.

Together we can make each 1,000 hours a student spends with us a transformational experience that provides opportunities for their futures and deepens their faith. Please consider giving today.

“We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about His power and His mighty wonders…so the next generation might know them, even the children not yet born – and they in turn will teach their own children. So each generation should set its hope anew on God” Psalms 78:4-6
