A Simple Opportunity to Make an Eternal Impact
There are moments in the life of a school that remind us why we are here in the first place. This MCS garage sale is one of them.
In the early 1980s, Mansfield Christian School stepped into something far bigger than itself. By God’s grace, we helped establish the first Christian schools in the Dominican Republic. What began decades ago has continued to bear fruit in ways we could not have imagined at the time. Lives have been changed. The gospel has been shared. And students, both there and here, have been shaped through that work.
Now, we have the opportunity to step back into that story through the MCS garage sale.
Returning to What God Started
This coming spring break, our students will travel to serve at Fountain of Life Christian School, one of the schools that Mansfield Christian helped plant more than 38 years ago. They will spend a week not just visiting, but serving. They will be in the classrooms. They will be in the community. They will see firsthand what it means to live out their faith in a real and tangible way.
If you want to better understand how these experiences shape our students, you can explore more about our approach on the MCS Academics page.
We are also planning ahead. Another trip is already in motion for spring break of 2027 because we believe this kind of experience is not optional. It is essential. When students step outside of their routine and into service, something changes. Their faith becomes personal. Their perspective shifts. Their purpose becomes clearer.

Why The MCS Garage Sale Matters for Your Child
Students today are asking deeper questions than ever before. They want to know if what they are learning actually matters. They want to know where they belong. They want to know if the people leading them truly care.
Experiences like this answer those questions.
This is not about a trip. This is about formation. It is about helping your child see that their life has meaning beyond themselves. It is about building relationships that matter. It is about placing them in an environment where faith is not just taught, but lived.
You can see more about how students experience this kind of growth by visiting Experience MCS or learning more about Who We Are.
How You Can Be Part of It
We have a simple and practical way for your family to help make this possible through the MCS garage sale.
We are hosting a Garage Sale to raise funds for the mission trip, as well as for building needs and school supplies for our partners in the Dominican Republic.

When you donate, when you shop, when you support the MCS garage sale, you are helping shape the life of a student and impact a community far beyond Mansfield.
