MCS Tuition and Aid
Making a Christ-Centered Education Possible for Every Family
Choosing a school is one of the biggest decisions your family will ever make. At Mansfield Christian School, we believe your child’s education should shape their character, strengthen their mind, and prepare them to live with purpose. And we believe this should still be financially possible for every family.
How We Make MCS Affordable
We combine several programs to help reduce your family’s cost through our Tuition and Aid structure:
- EdChoice Scholarship – State scholarship support for eligible K–12 students
- Need-Based Aid – Support based on your family’s financial need
- Merit Awards – Recognition for academic achievement
- Ministry Discounts – Support for qualifying full-time ministry families
Step 1: Find Your Cost of Attendance
Look for the program that applies to your child. The total due reflects tuition and required fees before scholarship and/or financial aid have been applied. Every K-12 student in Ohio qualifies for the EdChoice Scholarship. Click to see the MCS Tuition and Fee Rates 2026-2027.

Step 2: Determine Your EdChoice Scholarship
100% of MCS families qualify for the EdChoice Scholarship!
Determine if you are eligible for the Traditional (School district based) or Expansion EdChoice Scholarship (Income and household size based) by using the tabs below and the  EdChoice Scholarship Calculator.
The Traditional EdChoice Scholarship provides eligible students the opportunity to attend participating private schools. Eligibility may be based on a student’s assigned public school or other criteria established by the State of Ohio. Current maximum awards are $6,166 for grades K–8 and $8,408 for grades 9–12. Our admissions team can help you determine which application path applies to your child.
EdChoice Expansion is the income-based scholarship option for Ohio students in grades K–12 who do not qualify through the Traditional program. Current maximum awards are $6,166 for grades K–8 and $8,408 for grades 9–12. Families at or below 450% of the Federal Poverty Level may receive the maximum award, while awards above that level are prorated according to the current state chart.
Use the calculator for an estimate, then confirm your final award with the MCS admissions team and the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
EdChoice Expansion Calculator
Understanding what you will actually pay should never feel confusing. Our EdChoice Scholarship Calculator makes the process simple. By entering your School district, household size, and income, you can see an estimate of the scholarship amount your family may receive. Most MCS families qualify for the full award, which means you may only be responsible for the fees shown in the cost chart above.
The calculator gives you a clear starting point so you can plan with confidence before you apply. If you have questions as you use it, our admissions team is happy to help.
Step 3: Explore Additional Financial Aid
After you apply for EdChoice, you may also qualify for other scholarships. These programs help families reduce their remaining balance even further. These options include leadership scholarships, ministry discounts, aid based on financial need, employment benefits, and funds created to help families who need extra support.
