Hello, wonderful choir parents!                                                             

I am very excited about this upcoming opportunity to celebrate Christ's birth with your families!

Our mandatory dress rehearsal for the 5th-12th grade Christmas concert is on Wednesday, December 9 from 3:15 - 5:30 pm. This will be our only opportunity to run through the entire program with everyone before our concert, so it is very important that each student be present. They should bring homework or books to read since there will be down time while other ensembles rehearse. Please pick up your elementary students at Door 5 and your secondary students at Door 3. Students DO NOT need to wear their concert attire for the dress rehearsal, just for the concert on Thursday, the 10th.

Our 5th-12th Grade Christmas Choral Concert entitled Ringing in the Savior’s Birth  is Thursday, December 10 at 7:00 pm in the high school gym. The students' call time is 6:15 pm. This is a required concert for students, so I’m looking forward to seeing everyone eager and prepared to participate in this opportunity to share the gospel through Christmas music!

Black dress pants or black skirt (no knees showing)

Solid white blouse

Black dress shoes

Black socks, hose, and belt (if applicable)

Gentlemen

White dress shirt (preferably long-sleeved)

Black dress shoes

Dark tie

I am still looking for help in the following areas.

{a} We would like to have a 4-5 parents help CHAPERONE during the required dress rehearsal Wednesday, December 10 3:15-5:30pm.

{b} SNACKS (water, granola bars, fruit) are helpful at the rehearsal time, too, after a long day at school. Please place any donations in the choir room by 3:00 pm on Wednesday.

{c} On the night of the performance, we would like to serve COOKIES AND PUNCH. Please contact me or Devera Ritz if you are willing to donate some goodies for our post-concert reception.

{e} Also one or two volunteers to “man” the Music Boosters table – selling discount cards

{f}  TEAR DOWN CREW  -   We need to put away all the chairs, mats, and risers after the concert.
