Church Partnership Event:
Better Together

At Mansfield Christian School, we believe Christian education works best when the school, home, and church are working together.

That was the heart behind our Church Partnership Event. The theme was Better Together, and it gave us time to meet with local pastors and ministry leaders who care deeply about students and families in our community.

MCS does not exist apart from the church. We exist to come alongside Christian homes and Bible-believing churches. Our mission is to teach strong academics from a Biblical worldview while helping students grow in their faith, character, and service.

A Shared Mission

More than 115 local churches are represented within the MCS family, which shows how connected our school already is to the broader Christian community.

That connection matters because the work of discipling students is too important for any one group to carry alone. Parents, churches, and Christian educators each have a role to play.

Churches help MCS by praying for students and staff, speaking in chapel, mentoring students, hosting ministry experiences, and encouraging families. Each part of that partnership helps students see what it looks like to follow Christ in daily life.

A Message from Dr. Todd Marrah

This year’s guest speaker was Dr. Todd Marrah.

Dr. Marrah serves as Executive Director of the Christian Education Network. He also serves as Superintendent of Tree of Life Christian Schools and Executive Pastor at Rock City Church.

His background in Christian schools, church ministry, leadership, and student spiritual formation gave our guests a helpful look at the connection between the church and Christian education.

His message was clear. Students need strong homes. They need strong churches. They also need a school that points them toward Christ each day.

How Your Ministry Can Get Involved

One of the ways MCS is building this partnership is through the Ministry and Missions Academy.

This program gives juniors and seniors the chance to explore ministry, missions, and church leadership. Students can serve alongside local ministry leaders, meet with mentors, and gain real experience in ministry settings. This matters because students are not only learning about ministry. They are seeing it first-hand.

We are thankful for the churches that have already partnered with MCS to enhance this program.

Chapel is a major part of spiritual life at Mansfield Christian School. Each year, MCS holds more than 150 chapel services, and local pastors and ministry leaders help us speak Biblical truth into the lives of students.

These chapel services give students a chance to hear from voices in the local church while they are also being shaped by daily Bible teaching in the classroom.

Students also have the opportunity to serve through worship and music. IMAGE, our choral group, allows students to lead worship in area churches and take part in community events while using their gifts for the Lord.

Better Together

Mansfield Christian School is thankful for every pastor, church, and ministry leader who partners with us.

Your prayers, leadership, and investment in students matter more than you may ever see. When churches and Christian schools work together, students are given more opportunities to grow in faith, serve others, and live with Kingdom purpose.

We are grateful for this shared work, and we believe the mission is stronger when we do it together.
