2025-2026 School Year Finished Strong
Every school year, your child spends 1,000 hours at MCS. For Carlie Geiger, those hours helped her see that the Lord has given her a heart for His people.
After traveling to the Dominican Republic with MCS this spring, Carlie shared, “I felt I could do a lot more for the Kingdom of God if only I had more time.” God answered her prayer, and has given her the opportunity to spend four weeks in the DR serving with Partners in Christ. She will be teaching English to Haitian children and Dominican teenagers while building relationships and sharing the love of Jesus.
“My faith has been my own, but it started in the classrooms of Mansfield Christian. MCS has taught me what it means to love Jesus and how to share that love with others.” This is the impact of 1,000 hours. At MCS, students are not only prepared for what comes next. They are equipped to follow God’s call and use their gifts to serve others wherever He leads.

Pre-K Graduation
Congratulations to Our Pre-K Graduates! 🎓
We are so proud of our little ones as they take this big step from Pre-K to Kindergarten! Watching them grow, learn, and shine has been such a blessing. This year has been filled with laughter, learning, friendships, and so many special memories.
As they move forward into Kindergarten, we pray they continue to grow in wisdom, kindness, and confidence, always keeping the joy of learning in their hearts and their eyes fixed on Jesus every step of the way. We know God has wonderful plans for each of them!
“Let the little children come to Me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” – Matthew 19:14 ✝️
High School Graduation
The Mansfield Christian School Class of 2026 is stepping into the next chapter of God’s plan for their lives. This graduation recap celebrates 51 graduates who have been shaped by teachers, coaches, parents, pastors, and fellow students.
As they move forward into college, trades, missions, military service, and the places God has prepared for them, they are called to remember who they are and why they were made. They are sent out as lights in a world that needs Jesus.
Congratulations to the Mansfield Christian School Class of 2026!
High School Graduation
We are incredibly thankful for the success of the Dominican Republic Mission Trip Garage Sale held at Mansfield Christian School from June 3–6. Through the generosity of school families, church members, and community supporters, $14,219.64 was raised to help support the mission team.
This fundraiser would not have been possible without the many donations, hours of sorting and organizing, setup and cleanup, and volunteers who served throughout the week. Thank you to everyone who donated items, shopped the sale, spread the word, and prayed for this ministry.
The funds raised will support upcoming mission work in the Dominican Republic as the team partners with Fountain of Life School and the local community through education, construction projects, children’s ministry, and sharing the love of Christ.
Thank you for investing in this mission and helping make it possible. We praise God for His provision and for the many people who came together to make this fundraiser such a success.
Church and Ministry Partnership
MCS welcomed pastors and ministry leaders to MCS for our Church and Ministry Partnership Event. We enjoyed breakfast, heard from Dr. Todd R. Marrah, and shared how God is working in the lives of our students.
We also gave updates on the Academy of Ministry and Missions and ways our local churches can stay connected with MCS. We are Better Together!

Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO)
Turn Your Taxes Into a Scholarship
Last year was the highest year ever for MCS through the SGO program, with more than $120,000 received for student scholarships. That money directly helped families access a Christ centered education at Mansfield Christian.
The maximum tax credit is $750 per person or $1,500 per married couple, but you do not have to redirect the full amount. Even $50, $100, or $250 can help provide scholarships for MCS students.
This is not just another donation. It is a way to redirect tax dollars you may already owe to the state of Ohio and use them to help students at MCS instead.
We are asking every MCS family to prayerfully consider taking part this year. Together, these redirected tax dollars can make a major difference for students and families.
Athletics
Incredible Postseason
Congratulations to MCS senior Riley Patrick on an incredible season and a historic performance at the State Track Meet!
Riley earned a place on the podium in both events, finishing 4th in the 3200m with a personal best time of 11:05 and 5th in the 1600m. No MCS athlete has ever reached the podium in two events at the same state meet, making Riley’s accomplishment one for the record books. We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and perseverance she displayed throughout the season. Congratulations, Riley, on representing MCS so well.
Making history! The MCS Lady Flames softball team captured their first-ever conference title with an incredible 18–0 victory over Central Christian.
Bailee Nelson led the way with a dominant performance in the circle, pitching a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts! Way to go, Lady Flames! We are so proud of you!

Current Building Gets a New Roof
Investing in our future!
Thanks to the facility fee, donations, and good budgeting, much of our current roof has been replaced this summer. These improvements ensure our current building is better for generations to come!
4th Modular Unit Placed on Campus
MCS installed its fourth and final modular classroom unit in June!
The school’s original maintenance garage, built in the 1960s, was removed to make space for the modular rooms. The new modular unit was needed to provide space for a third classroom in the building for the sixth grade. Every grade level in the elementary now enrolls three classrooms of students! Additional space allows MCS to keep up with the continued enrollment demand, while maintaining optimal student/teacher ratios that our families enjoy. The new modular unit will contain the elementary library and the new Business Academy program classroom for the high school.
Launch of the Business MCCAP
Four years ago, Mansfield Christian School launched the Mansfield Christian Career Academy Program with a clear mission: to help students explore potential career paths through mentoring relationships, enhanced coursework, and internship experiences, all while discerning God’s unique calling on their lives. Since then, MCS has established three academies—Health Professions, STEM, and Ministry & Missions.
This fall we will launch our fourth and final academy, Business. If you are interested in mentoring MCS students who participate in MCCAP, please contact Mrs. Cynthia Stigall. Mrs. Stigall can connect you with the relevant academy as a mentor or guest speaker.
Work at MCS
New Hire Spotlight
My name is Zachariah Custer, and I am the Director of Marketing and Communications at MCS. In 2020, I graduated from Pensacola Christian College and then worked in their marketing department for a few years. After that, I moved back to Ohio to be closer to family.
My wife, Kayla, and I recently celebrated five years of marriage, and we are so thankful for our five-month-old, Brinley. Outside of my role at MCS, I own three businesses: Custer Marketing, Foam Bash, and Superstorm Events. I also love golf and coffee.
Why I chose MCS
Ever since I was little, I knew God wanted me to help people, but I did not know exactly what that would look like. In the unknown, I strove to remember to commit my ways to the Lord, and then my thoughts would be established (Proverbs 16:3). I can now see that part of my calling is to help share the gospel through marketing and show families what God is doing at MCS.
I chose MCS because this school truly loves people and pursues excellence. That combination matters to me. The people here are not only called to serve, but with the help of Christ, they work to be excellent in their field. Teachers, staff, coaches, and leaders care deeply about students, but they also work hard to do things well. That is one of the most motivating parts of being here.
Working in a ministry is a choice. It is not always the easiest choice, but it is one of the most rewarding choices you can make when you are walking in the Lord’s will. At MCS, I get to work alongside people who love Christ, love families, and want to use their gifts for something bigger than themselves.
