School Year Theme

Every Hour Matters. Every Life Changes.

Because what fills their minds shapes their hearts.

The 2025–26 theme for Mansfield Christian School is more than a phrase. It is a call to remember that every moment matters in the life of a child. At MCS, we know that the 1,000 hours your child spends in school each year are not just about lessons and grades. They are hours that shape who they are becoming. In those moments, friendships are built, truth is taught, and faith is strengthened. Each class, chapel, and conversation becomes part of the foundation for a life of conviction and courage.

Anchored in the Story of Daniel

The Bible tells us about Daniel, who stood firm in a culture that tried to change his identity. He could do that because he was deeply rooted in God’s Word. That is the kind of preparation we want for every student at MCS, an education that equips them to live boldly in a world that often pulls in the opposite direction. Our 2025–26 theme is not just for students. It is for our entire school family, reminding us that every hour matters.

The Simmering Family

We see this lived out in stories like the Simmering family. Tara Simmering (Bohland ’03) and her husband Jason are moving with their three children to Liverpool, England, to help plant and grow a church. They sold their possessions and followed God’s call with joy, and their children are excited to serve alongside them. Their story is a living example of faith in action, rooted in a foundation that was planted years ago.

Our Desire for Every Student

This is what we desire for every MCS student. Whatever God calls them to, we want them to commit and follow with confidence. Sometimes that calling may look countercultural like Daniel and his friends. Other times it may be bold and unexpected like moving across the world to serve Christ. At MCS, we strive each day to teach students a biblical worldview because we know that what fills their minds will shape their hearts. And when their hearts are rooted in truth, they are prepared to change the world for Christ.
