What Discipleship Looks Like in the Classroom

Respect

In Pre-K and Kindergarten, your child begins with the simple and beautiful truth that God is powerful, loving, and always present. Students learn that respecting God and respecting others are essential parts of living like Jesus.

Wisdom

In first through third grade, students learn how God’s Word shapes the way they think, act, and make decisions. They begin to see the world through a Biblical lens.

Grace

Fourth through sixth grade students learn what it means to receive God’s grace and show that same grace to others.

Trust

Middle school brings new questions, pressures, and opportunities. The Student Discipleship Plan helps seventh and eighth grade students trust God with their choices, identity, and future.

Perspective

In grades nine through twelve, your child learns to see life, culture, and calling from a Biblical perspective. This prepares them for college, career, and a life of influence.

As an alumna of Mansfield Christian School, I know firsthand how a Christ centered education shapes confident, prepared students. MCS laid the foundation for my academic path, leading to a Master’s degree in Education, years of teaching, and eventually my role as Assistant Superintendent. The growth I experienced mirrors the heart of our Student Discipleship Plan, which guides students to know God, follow Him, and discover their purpose.

MCS is a community of caring teachers and supportive families united in pointing students to Jesus. Through the Student Discipleship Plan, we help every child understand who they are in Christ and feel valued as a member of the MCS family as they prepare for whatever God calls them to do beyond high school.

Thanks everyone on the team for making the first day of school drop off so wonderful. It was the best ever! From the student ambassadors welcoming us on the drive it to the warm reception by teachers and staff. Our family always appreciates all you do to make MCS shine and to kick off a great year for our grandkids!
