Preparing our Hearts to Celebrate Easter | March 2026

The week between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, known as Holy Week, offers a meaningful opportunity for Christians to reflect on the final days of Jesus’s earthly ministry. As a school community, we encourage you to choose from the activities below to help guide your children through this most significant celebration of our Risen King. Wishing you a joyful and blessed Easter!

Episodes & Excerpt

Join Chris, Joy, and Gizmo as they travel back to Biblical times to meet heroes of faith. This animated series has been broadcast in 48 languages. Enjoy The Last Supper, and He is Risen! episodes together as a family. Remember Superbook of the 1980’s?-watch the OG series too.

Listen to Pastor Allistair Begg’s viral depiction of the heavenly conversation that occurred when the thief on the cross arrived in Paradise.

A video and discussion from The Colson Center centering on the historical evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and its apologetic impact. Discussion Guide included.

Activities

While the resurrection rolls are cooling, spend time together learning how to draw an Easter Sunday, Empty Tomb!

The Wordless Book is a tool to help others share the good news of Jesus Christ.  Visual learners will love creating and remembering what each color represents in the story. Create a book or bracelet

MCS exists to partner with parents, equipping them to faithfully train their children to know and love the Lord and to see all of life through a biblical worldview. Together, we seek to cultivate hearts and minds shaped by truth, wisdom, and a deep love for God, preparing students to live faithfully in His world.
