MCS Track and Cross Country
We are the Flames!
At Mansfield Christian School, Track and Cross Country is about running with purpose. Our student-athletes learn to push their limits, grow in perseverance, and develop a spirit of teamwork, all while representing Christ on and off the track.
Whether sprinting down the straightaway, clearing hurdles, or competing in long-distance events, our athletes are guided by experienced coaches who help them excel in both performance and character.
Run with Purpose
Though they are more recent sports to MCS, the track and cross country programs have shown the most growth. These sports provide opportunities for students to:
- Develop endurance, speed, and strength through personalized training.
- Compete in a wide range of events, including sprints, distance, relays, hurdles, and field events.
- Grow in discipline and resilience by setting goals and working to achieve them.
- Build friendships and community with teammates who encourage and challenge one another.

Mansfield Christian School Athletic Director
Ben Stauffer
As an MCS graduate, it is a privilege to now serve as the Athletic Director at the very school that helped shape me. MCS Athletics played a significant role in my own growth as both a student and an athlete, and it is an honor to now invest in the next generation of Flames.
I would love the chance to talk with you about how your child can become a Flame and experience the teamwork, discipline, leadership, and Christ-centered encouragement that define MCS Athletics. Whether your child is passionate about sports or just beginning to explore their interests, there is a place for them here.
Join the Flames Track and Cross Country
For students who want to test their speed, endurance, or skill, Track and Cross Country offers the chance to discover talents and push beyond limits. Parents can be confident that their child is part of a program where athletic development and faith go hand-in-hand.
