At Mansfield Christian School, this state-funded program helps reduce the financial burden of tuition, making it easier for parents to choose a school that aligns with their values and priorities. Whether you’re exploring options for kindergarten or high school, MCS is here to guide you through every step of the EdChoice process.

What Is the EdChoice Scholarship?

The EdChoice Scholarship, offered by the Ohio Department of Education, helps qualifying families pay for tuition at participating private schools. The program was designed to give parents more choices in their child’s education, regardless of where they live or their income level.

There are two pathways into the EdChoice Scholarship program:

  • Traditional EdChoice: For students assigned to underperforming public schools

  • EdChoice Expansion: Based solely on household income

MCS proudly participates in both programs. And, once you’ve enrolled, the scholarship is good for your child’s entire school career.
