MCS Pre-K - What It's All About

In our Christian preschool, faith and learning are part of every moment. As you saw in the video, teachers don’t just teach, they model Christ’s love in the way they speak, guide, and encourage each child. Students are introduced to the Bible in ways they can understand and carry into their daily lives.

They discover that God cares about every subject, from counting and reading to art and music. They learn to respect parents, teachers, and friends out of love. Whether they are worshiping in chapel, painting in art, or exploring God’s creation on a field trip, they are building a foundation that lasts far beyond preschool.

Paige Them

As the Elementary Principal, I am grateful to serve a community where faith, learning, and childhood joy come together each day. My background in education from Ashland University and Liberty University has shaped my commitment to strong academics and Christ centered schooling, and I love seeing our students grow in both knowledge and character.
What excites me most about Mansfield Christian School is the culture that anchors our community. Our staff works in genuine fellowship, our families partner with us in faith, and every day offers the chance to point students to Jesus. It is a blessing to encourage our teachers, celebrate student growth, and walk alongside each child and family as we pursue Christ together.

We couldn’t have asked for a sweeter start. Every day points their little hearts toward Jesus and His creation through songs, stories, play, and the way the classroom itself felt soaked in wonder. The academics were thoughtful and rich, giving our child such a strong foundation, but never at the expense of joy. And woven through it all was a teacher who cared with her whole heart, who loved deeply, taught faithfully, and made every child feel seen and cherished. MCS is so special to our family, and we will always be grateful for the way it shaped these early years.

Both my son and daughter attended preschool at MCS, and Miss Young and her team did an amazing job combining play, learning, and a strong biblical foundation. They made sure my children were ready for kindergarten in every way.

It’s been incredible watching our daughter grow & thrive at MCS Preschool! The weekly updates keep us connected, and we love the biblical foundation she’s learning from. We’re so grateful for Miss Young’s guidance these past two years.

The MCS preschool program has been invaluable for our children. The teachers genuinely care for and love the kids. They do a wonderful job of creating a Christ centered foundation for the kids. We have 3 children who have previously been in the preschool program and who are currently in it. They have most loved making new friendships, praising God, learning the alphabet, and of course play time. The MCS preschool program has been a God send for our family.

When our oldest started in the MCS preschool program last year, it just felt right. Like a warm hug. I can’t think of a better way to have begun his academic career. One of my most treasured moments occurred during a classroom party early on in the school year - while juggling all of her duties, my child’s teacher noticed a concerned student and paused to pray with him. Classmates began collecting around their friend to join her in prayer. It was a blessing to witness these littles turn to God, and see the love Miss Young pours into our precious children daily. The teachers at MCS are a gift and I’m forever grateful.
