Helping Students Discover Their Calling Before College

Most students graduate without clear direction. College is expensive, and uncertainty can lead to lost time, stress, and wasted opportunities. At Mansfield Christian School, we want our students to step into the next season with clarity and purpose.

The Mansfield Christian Career Academy Program (MCCAP) helps high school students explore real career paths before they graduate. Through mentorship, hands-on experience, and Christ-centered guidance, students begin to see how their gifts and calling can come together.

What Makes MCCAP Different

Real experiences reveal real direction

Students in grades 11–12 take four MCCAP courses during the school day that help them explore a field of interest. Whether they’re drawn to healthcare, engineering, ministry, or business, they begin to understand what the work is really like, and if it fits their strengths, passions, and purpose.

Every student is paired with a Christian guide

Once a month, each student meets with a mentor who works in their chosen field. These mentors don’t just talk about the job, they model how to lead with integrity, faith, and purpose.

Hands-on experience builds readiness

Each MCCAP student completes 40 hours of internship experience with a local Christian professional. It’s real-world learning that strengthens responsibility, communication, and decision-making.

Career Academy Program Tracks Available

Each career academy track includes four elective courses designed specifically for career exploration. Students meet monthly with a Christian mentor in their chosen field and complete 40 hours of hands-on internship experience. Throughout the career academy program, they also have opportunities to connect with professionals and gain real insight into the day-to-day work of that career. Students apply during the first semester of 10th grade and begin coursework in 11th grade. The program fee is $200 per year.
